Resolution is wrong for iPhone 7. Controls are buggy. Game hasnt been updated since 2013.

Please update, love this game

Before I bought this Ive read some reviews about how frustrating the game can be in the IPhone 5. I decided my love for the tactics game would supersede that, however it wasnt true. Gameplay on the IPhone 5 is very clunky, and the phone has never felt too small until I played this game. It takes forever to play the game sometimes, and takes away from the fun because you are too frustrated with the mechanics and not "clicking right" that you cant enjoy the game itself. I would recommend the game to anyone who has an IPhone 6 and up, its day 2 and I seriously cant take the game on my phone. Im going to put it in hold until I upgrade my phone, maybe then it wont be so lackluster.

The concept is cool. It is just difficult to play on an iPhone. It makes me quiet dizzy looking at the screen. My fat fingers dont help while trying to use the controls. Not worth buying unless your using an iPad or a huge phone .

I love this game so much and am on my 6th run. Please update to the latest iOS

Love this absolutely one of my favorites to this day and pretty good port, but if you guys read the reviews can you please enable file sharing! Please! Love this game is say Ive got at least 20 play throughs all I ask is that you enable file sharing you still have fans playing this game. Thank you

Tried this on iPhone 4. Gave up. This version is really great though. Using on an iPhone 6+. Even if doesnt fit whole screen, doesnt need to. Thank you for this!

I wrote a long review but the App Store erased it. Thanks Apple. This version of FFT has all the extras of the PSP version, except the multiplayer. It also has many bonuses of its own. Higher res wide screen graphics. Redrawn sprites. Variable zoom. Variable camera angles. Touch screen controls, which, in my opinion are very intuitive. iCloud saves. In call you hear game, but they dont. Closing the app pauses the game, even midbattle. The developers did good on this port. Ive beaten FFT start to finish atleast 7x. Only once on iphone, but this is the best presentation so far.

Its definitely an awesome game. But the port has some serious bugs. It tends to crash at random times. On rare occasions those crashes can even erase your save files. Also at random times the in game menus may disappear completely leaving you with a cursor floating over nothing. And worse yet, they still havent fixed it. Will improve score if they fix issues

Its a great game but it really needs to be updated to take advantage of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus screens.

Save file constantly gets erased and the game does this on purpose with no way to stop it or make a duplicate save.

The port is great. I have not encountered and glitches or forced closing. Touch screen isnt bad at all. The camera takes a bit of getting used to but once you play around its not an issue. For those who dont read the app description: This isnt (is not) a universal app. Kind of a poor decision on SE... So be wary on what device you pick this up on. Major flaw: I have enabled iCloud saves within the game menu, but every time I save in the iCloud game save (only allows 1 iCloud save spot; 3 local saves) it claims to be saved but when you go in to load the game, or save over the last game save, there shows no data. Major issue if you are playing on multiple devices. Even if youre playing on one device, its bad because you cant have a cloud back up of a game that you can spend dozens upon dozens of hours in. This needs to be fixed... Which isnt likely because this game hasnt been updated in 2 years... :/

The game itself seems to play fine. Im choosing to rate this 1/5 stars because weve had the wider screen iPhones for just about THREE YEARS and SquareEnix continues to leave these games with the black bars on the sides.

Ive played more of this game on my iPhone than I ever did on ps1. I never had the patience to play but being able to just pick it up and go is a great motivator. All in all this is a pretty good port. It does take some time getting used to the microscopic menu selections but you get used to it after a while. My only major issue with this game is a technical one: it crashes constantly on startup before the main menu and several times during gameplay. This seems to be completely random, possibly a compatibility issue with the iPhone 6. Still, I keep coming back to it and plan to finally finish it this time around.

I give the game itself 5 stars. Hell, Id give it 10 if I could. But recently it keeps crashing on me when I first open the game from my home screen. It happened on my old phone, and now my new phone. Please fix because I love this game and want to keep playing it.

Very few complaints. Controls were hard to understand at first, and the gameplay started out very difficult, but I found it got easier on both counts as time went on. It does drain battery quickly though.

Add max stats like you did other games and Ill give it 5! Great job otherwise!

It has been a common occurrence where the game has some screen glitches and lags. There are also times the continue, without loading the previously saved game, is delayed. Please update to fix these. Other than that, pretty solid game.
